The 9500 Communications Server plays the role of traffic cop in a wireless installation. Data from wireless handheld computer terminals (like the Psion Teklogix 7535) on the warehouse floor is sent through a wireless gateway to the server which routes or directs it to the correct destination on the enterprise network. It also routes data from the network through the gateway and to the handheld computer terminals.

Based on Windows 2000 Server, and available with comprehensive emulation options, the 9500 delivers a seamless fit with almost any infrastructure.

Advanced Session Management keeps sessions with the terminals open, even if a device is out of range or is powered off. Terminal Emulation capabilities and WinTSF Screen Formatting makes sure the right information is presented to the terminal user with exceptionally quick response times.
