Also known as “access points,” wireless gateways broadcast radio waves to and receive radio waves from the handheld computer terminals active in a wireless-enabled facility. An essential component of the wireless infrastructure, this unit permits data to flow between an enterprise's computer network, and the mobile computer terminals deployed on the floor of a warehouse or distribution center.

The 9150 Wireless Gateway allows you to mix and match RF (radio frequency) technologies 802.11b for high transaction rates, and Narrowband RF for larger areas requiring extensive coverage. Supporting Power over Ethernet, the 9150DC eliminates the cost of purchasing and installing traditional A.C. power lines.

The 9160 G2 Wireless Gateway is Psion Teklogix’ newest, most advanced access point and offers multiple Radio Frequency (RF) technology options to meet the requirements of any warehouse environment. The 9160 G2 offers support for dual 802.11 radios to accommodate a range of wireless applications and delivers robust security with levels ranging from WEP to 802.11i with AES encryption.
